Independent, not a division
Exoskeletons are, fundamentally, a robotics application — actuators that move with a body, sensors that read intent, software that decides what to do next. Limo Exossa draws that engineering heritage from Limo Robotics, Limo Group's shared hard-tech capability. But Limo Exossa owns its own revenue, its own cost base, and its own production line. It is a vertical in its own right, not a line item inside someone else's.
Exossa platforms are built, assembled, and quality-tested on dedicated production lines — not a side output of another vertical's plant.
Exossa sells directly — to Limo Group hubs first, then to third-party warehouses, logistics operators, and eventually clinical partners. Revenue and cost sit on Exossa's own books.
EXOSSA is the identity riders, hub operators, and partners actually see — LIFT, STREET, TRAIL, COMMAND, and RISE ship under it, not under an engineering-division label.
Shared learning runs both directions — Exossa doesn't start engineering from zero, and what Exossa proves in the field feeds back into the shared stack:

Why RISE is not a footnote
This is the honest case for RISE — not a speculative add-on, but a response to a scale of need that's already documented. The numbers below are cited from national surveys and UN population data, not estimated for this page.
India's elderly population is projected to more than double from around 100 million (2011) to 230 million by 2036 — nearly one in seven Indians will be 60 or older.
NFHS-5, India's most recent national health survey, found locomotor disabilities account for 44.7% of all recorded disability — up sharply from earlier census figures, and rising with age.
Around 69% of persons with disabilities in India live in rural areas — precisely where rehabilitation infrastructure and specialist orthopaedic care are thinnest.
India already runs the Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojana (RVY) — a government scheme distributing free assistive mobility devices (wheelchairs, walking aids) to below-poverty-line senior citizens. This is not a gap Limo Robotics would be entering cold: it's an existing distribution and policy channel worth engaging directly, rather than building RISE's go-to-market from zero.
RISE is framed at TRL 1/9 for a reason (see The Fleet) — real need does not shorten the real timeline for a clinically validated mobility device. What it does is justify why Limo Robotics should be pursuing this direction at all, long before it's a shipping product.

PLI 1.0 ran ₹120 crore (2021-22 to 2024-25); a PLI 2.0 expansion — reported in the ₹1,000-1,500 crore range — was under active government finalisation through 2026. The low component-manufacturer threshold matters strategically: Limo Exossa doesn't need to become a drone company to participate. Supplying motors, batteries, or composite airframe parts to other Indian drone makers is a real, lower-risk entry point.
